Covid booster
Since the spring of 2021, all pregnant women are advised to be vaccinated against Corona, and to regularly get a repeat shot. Pregnant women with COVID-19 are at greater risk of a severe course of the disease. Therefore, gynecologists, obstetricians and pediatricians advise all pregnant women to be vaccinated with an mRNA vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) at any time during pregnancy. A Q&A (in Dutch) about the repeat injection has been drawn up. Also read on RIVM: Covid-19 vaccination and pregnancy.
As a pregnant woman, you have priority for this injection and you do not have to wait until you receive an invitation from the GGD or central government. The condition is that it has been at least 3 months since you received your last jab or had corona. To make an appointment you need a personal letter of invitation that we can prepare for you. Request this via info@verloskundigenoosterpark.nl or call the assistant on working days. You can then make a prick appointment with your DigiD at www.coronaherhaalprik.nl.
Do you doubt whether you want to get a corona (repeat) jab? You can of course discuss this with us or with your doctor.
