Eveline Corporal

Eveline has been doing mother and child related care work since 1998. In 2006, she started working in our clinic as a midwife. She also performs our first trimester ultrasound scans. Additionally, she is involved in different regional projects concerning mother- and childcare.
Eveline is mum to two sons and a daughter, they live on typical Amsterdam houseboat.

Having finished her Master in Arts and Culture, Lonneke chose to pursue a career as a midwife instead. She has been working as a midwife in Amsterdam Oost since 2007. Apart from her job at the clinic, she is the former chairwoman of the steering committee of integrated perinatal care and is a board member of the association of midwives and gynaecologists in Amsterdam Oost. Lonneke has two sons.

Our receptionists are usually your first point of contact in our clinic. They will book your appointments and make sure our admin runs smoothly. Ingrid Scheufele-Bakker en Sharon Hoekstra are at the clinic every day; you can reach them between 08.00 and 14.00.

After a career in her own salon and as a dental assistant, Sharon now works as an assistant in our practice. On Mondays and Tuesdays, she is your first person of contact.
Student midwives and medical students
Training our future colleagues is very important to us which is why we frequently work together with student midwives and medical students. We are responsible for them and they will only work under our direct supervision. In case you prefer not to be assisted by a student, please don’t hesitate to let us know. Take a look at our news page to see if we have any student midwives working with us at the moment.
Registration and standards
All our midwives are both listed in the BIG-register (the Dutch Healthcare Professionals Act) and in the quality register for midwives held by The Royal Dutch Organisation of Midwives (KNOV). This means that each year our midwives must spend time on training and professional development. Our sonographers are listed with the quality register for sonographers - BEN.
