Together with 140 colleagues from our Association of Midwives Amsterdam/Amstelland EVAA, we took the initiative to set up a second birth center in our region. Bevalcentrum Zuid (BCZ) opened its doors on August 15 and several 'Amsterdammertjes' have already been born at this beautiful location! Women without a medical indication can give birth here, and use a birthing bath and laughing gas.
