The birth cafe; meeting place for pregnant women and women who have recently given birth
The birth cafe
Many women like to have a place to go in the last part of their pregnancy or in the early days after giving birth where they can easily meet other mothers and professionals. To share experiences, ask questions or just have a cup of coffee. That is why the birth cafe exists. A lactation consultant is always available to ask questions about feeding your baby.
Mama cafe
There is a Mama café twice a month. Every first Monday of the month in Studio K (Timorplein 62, A'dam East) and every first Tuesday of the month in the Bosom Friend Cafe (Overtoom 205, A'dam West). Look at de website vanthe birth cafefor the most up-to-date times and info. The meetings are free, but you do pay for your own consumptions. And of course you can (breast)feed your child during the Mama-cafe!
